2nd place at the 2019 Greg Noonan Memorial Homebrew Competition. This beer is as simple as it gets. In addition to pilsner malt and the slightest amount of crystal malt, we include acidulated malt to achieve our target PH. Despite a simple malt bill we are able to achieve layers of nuance through a five minute decotion mash which adds notes of caramel and toasted bread. Hallertau and Spalter Select hops are added generously throughout the boil. As always, this beer is carbonated naturally.
